After my grandmother passed away from breast cancer, I launched the Breast Cancer Has No Gender curated digital campaign. During my research on breast cancer, it was revealed that almost all the images were geared toward women. Women are affected heavily, but men and other members of the gender spectrum might not find these images beneficial. A wide range of topics are addressed in the campaign, such as inclusivity, mental health, wellness, community, and dialogue.

Breast Cancer Has No Gender

The goal of this visual identity was to pay homage to 90’s magazine ads. I  also wanted to make sure the visual language took gender-neutral and male-oriented graphics.

The logo is modeled after the shape of breasts and the color is reflective of the idea that breast cancer affects us all, men, women, or a little of both.

The typographic heirarchy system was laid out initially with the thought of having readable text that seemed professional and exciting.
